At the beginning of the story, Mingzhen only had two good friends, sister and brother Li Leyan. The shadow in her heart made her unable to accept new friends into her heart. Although she looked kind and gentle to everyone, it was this smiling face with the same curvature of the mouth that separated all goodwill and malice.
As she was moved by the sincerity of her new friends, she gradually accepted a few of them. With the sincere company of several people, Mingzhen opened her heart and plucked up the courage to formally tell her family about the pain she had hidden in her heart over the years, and finally reached a reconciliation with her family.
Mingzhen was very grateful to these friends and regarded them as the most important people. It wasn't until a confession after the college entrance examination disrupted Mingzhen's position that Mingzhen suddenly realized that this confession gave Jiang Xiaoshu a more reasonable explanation for some of his strange behaviors.
