Bessie Eckardt was the beater on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and the famously pretty eldest daughter of Hogwarts. She is beautiful, arrogant, clear about love and hate, and never wrongs herself; and she has had a fiancé since she was a child - Slytherin Seeker Terrence Higgs.
Before enrolling, both families told them that marriages would be arranged after graduation. Bessie just replied with a faint "Oh", but Terence looked at her as a "girl" for the first time from that day on.
