A hundred years ago, the gods were still there. They walked across the continent, bringing grace and disaster, and humans thrived under the laws given by God. Until that day - a gap opened across the sky, golden divine blood poured out like a torrential rain, and all the gods fell overnight. No one knows the murderer. The survivors only remember that all the idols were shattered at the same time and all the prayers were in vain. The world has lost its God.
But God's legacy is not lost. The sky mark known as the "God Meteor Crack" hangs in the sky, and chaotic and powerful energy flows out day and night - later generations call it "God's gift". A group of human beings were "selected" by the gods, and their bodies underwent changes, allowing them to control the elements and glimpse the future... They were called the heirs of the gods. However, every power is accompanied by distortion and madness. According to historical records, all the descendants of gods who have been awakened for more than ten years have turned into inhuman monsters without exception.
Therefore, the church established the "Court of Purification" with the mission of hunting down the heirs of God, claiming that this was the last act of loyalty to God. The heirs of the gods are hiding in hiding, living in the shadows, and are regarded as walking disasters. There is a folk legend about a "sanctuary", but no one knows where it is, and no one has ever seen anyone come out of it alive.
The story begins with the town of Yar, a border town that was burned down by the Purification Court. Six fugitive heirs of gods with different identities were guided by a mysterious man who called himself "madman" and gathered here from all directions. They were strangers to each other, but they were told the same prophecy: "The second crack is about to open, and if six people can't get together, no one can survive."
