How can I put it this way? I think it's fine if the protagonist group is weak, as it brings out the story, but the whole book made my heart beat fast (scared) and my blood pressure high (frustrating). The plot of the first half of the book was okay. It was a bit vulgar after the Japanese came out, but the structure was still quite complete. I can only say that Mao Da's writing is really good. Even though I felt uncomfortable, I still finished reading it. It was also fascinating!
