You get a willow branch that can help you realize your wish.
So you think bitterly about the person you envy and make a wish.
The next day, you find that the perfect and glamorous person you hate the most is suddenly rotten.
He is no longer the peaceful and polite good student, but has become arrogant and arrogant; he no longer politely refuses the favor expressed by others, but treats all feelings from others frivolously; his family is no longer harmonious and stable, and even fell apart overnight... All the qualities in him that you once envied and regarded as beautiful and excellent have disappeared. He seemed to have become a completely different person.
He is no longer tolerant and proactive towards you, and no longer pays attention to you gently and respects you. He becomes extremely contemptuous, vicious, and filthy towards you, just like a cat treats a trembling mouse in its hand. He constantly touches your bottom line and invades your original boundaries. When he looks at you, it is like licking your whole body with cold and sticky apricots...
"May the golden branch" come true. You really don't have to hate him anymore. But you're in despair - you've ruined a good man's life.
You have to take responsibility for it all.

The inspiration for the "Golden Bough" setting in the article comes from the horror movie "Obsession" and the story related to "Breaking the Golden Bough" in European cultural legends.
This book is not the same worldview. The two protagonists are both original characters. They are my OC family property and have their own books (but I haven't finished editing them yet, so I haven't published them yet). I just watched the movie and felt that they fit the setting very well, so I cast them in them. For entertainment purposes only.
Intention: Don't make wishes casually
