The five sisters, who were born in ordinary families and grew up in the fireworks years, have been placed in completely different chess positions by fate since they were young. They share the background of the same native family, but they have taken five completely different life trajectories: some bear the burden of caring for their families and move forward; some run to distant places and break free; some live a stable life and take things as they come; some are stubborn and full of scars; some are sober and independent, and make their own world.
Life is full of ups and downs, marriage and love, career choices, family relationships, gains and losses, and choices are all made up of mistakes.
This is not a spectacular counterattack legend, but the most authentic half-life record of a generation of ordinary women. There is no absolute right or wrong, there is no perfect life, there are only the struggles, compromises, growth and reconciliation of ordinary people in times and families.

Looking back on half a life, we finally understand: there are no regrets in life, and the companionship of sisters is the gentlest way home in the world.
Purpose: Using the decades-long life trajectories of five sisters from the same father and mother as a carrier, and using the vivid metaphor of "chess game" to describe the life of a generation of women who are bound and shaped by their original family, the environment of the times, and the secular world of marriage and love; to explore the complex two sides of family relationships, and the fact that there are no standard answers to life choices, and finally accept ordinary fate and reconcile with the past self.
