There was no question of who to choose, she had no choice from beginning to end.
She lived a life of hiding from debts with her stepmother since she was a child. The stepmother took her as a dragster just for the insurance money. She could only try her best to study and live in order to one day be admitted as a lawyer and find out the truth about her father's suicide. She didn't believe that her father, who was usually kind and honest, would commit suicide by taking excessive drugs and jumping off the building just because he couldn't pay back the loan shark!
Finally, she was admitted to the Supreme Law University, thinking that the dawn was coming.
God allowed her to meet her senior brother and gave her a rare sweetness in life. The senior brother is an untouchable and proud person, but he is willing to give up everything just to embrace her low self-esteem, sensitivity, heavy family background and despised private life. It wasn't until later that she discovered that they were from two different worlds after all, and she was afraid that if he gave her hope, she would only be disappointed in the end...
After all, God did not allow her life to truly usher in light, so she accepted her fate. Since God wanted to push her into darkness, she went over to see who was there.
And for him who had been trapped in the darkness, she was not a ray of light that walked in.
But as long as he is in the dark place, he will never let her get trapped in it.
