📖 Story introduction
In Hong Kong in 1999, the neon lights had not yet gone out and film had not yet exited the era.
Sixteen-year-old Zhang Mingbo came to Hong Kong from Kuala Lumpur to study.
He thought that this was just an ordinary boarding life in his life.
But on the first evening after school, I met the man who smiled and asked him:
"Would you like to go together after school?"
Since then, they have walked together through the long streets of Sai Ying Pun, ridden on jingdong cars, walked into the alleys of Sham Shui Po, eaten a bowl of hot egg noodles at an old tea restaurant, and learned photography at Sing Kee Printing.
A roll of 36-frame film records not only Hong Kong, but also the youth of two teenagers growing up little by little.
They think what they like is photography.
Later I discovered that what they really couldn't bear to part with was every evening after school together.
We don't fall in love after school.
We slowly learned to love during countless days after school together.
