Xi Huan, a student at the Academy of Fine Arts, went to Tibet to collect Tibetan works. He repaired thangkas and met Jigme Dorje, a local young man with a strict family background. The two got closer and closer at horse racing events, valley tours and night performances, but were forcibly separated by the Jigmei family. Xi Huan left a letter back to Suzhou. After being arranged to be engaged, Jigmei finally rebelled against the family and came to Jiangnan with the letter.
Intention: The threshold of freedom lies in the steps and the choices that can be made. Real freedom can be that I can do whatever I want, or it can be that I don't do what I don't want to do. Only when you say "I want" or "I don't want" do you really start to grasp freedom.
