"Blood and Covenant" is a Western fantasy BL novel. The protagonists are Archduke Endymias of Gitara (the Witch King of the Witch Clan) and Reinhart von Astalion, the strongest knight of the Volken Paladin Order (a pure-blood noble of the Astalion family in the north). The novel begins in the winter of 3723 in the Era of the Sun God. At that time, the battles and exclusions between religions became increasingly fierce. The story begins with a battle on the ice field. During the duel, Endymias's mask was knocked off, revealing his true face. Reinhardt was attracted by Endymias's gorgeous but illogical fighting power, and was also impressed by his beauty. During their first fight, Endymias used his magic pupil to reveal to Reinhardt that the current bishop, Hersenius, had used religion and the Knights to exclude dissidents, burned down the Temple of Gitara, and killed innocent heretics.
