Although they are not technically "adults" yet, in this era, being precocious is not a bad thing, at least it can lead to less disappointment.
Sensitive children have discovered clues early on: the word "love" is often accompanied by pie-in-the-sky promises and unbearable dependence.
"Love" is too heavy and will crush both the person who throws the word and the person who is hit to death at the same time.
Unless both parties learn to play the world, the weight attached to this word is reduced.
Or, if this child grows up to be a pretty good person, maybe he can learn to soak these hard words with warm water and time, and have a relaxing drink with a worthy person in the sunshine or the sound of rain some afternoon or early morning.
