In the spring of 1950, six-year-old Liang Jiahe held her mother's hand and boarded the "Nanling Ferry" to arrive in Hong Kong. In the narrow alley of Wutong Street, her father taught her boxing and her mother taught her arithmetic. In the forty-seven years since she arrived in North Point at the age of six, she has witnessed this ruins as a pearl with her hands that practice boxing, her hands that hold guns, and then her hands that sign contracts.
