Background:
Ten years ago, a sudden plague swept the world. The infection was extremely fast, the pathogen was unknown, and the vaccine was unknown. More than half of the world's deaths have occurred, human social order has collapsed, and survivors have gathered together. There are many dead souls and ghosts are rampant, becoming independent entities that compete with humans.

Human Protection Base Executive Officer Guan Buddha is one of the few humans who has supernatural powers and can transform into alien bodies. During an operation to capture ghosts, his powers were exhausted and he turned into a cat-shaped alien body. He was rescued and brought home by a girl Su Shigui who was suspected of being able to control ghosts.
