Su Nuan, HVAC intern at the Design Institute.
While working overtime late at night to change the drawing, she was pushed into a "conference room" from behind.
At the smoke-filled mahogany table, seven or eight men were discussing her plan. The plan was rejected and her voice was ignored. Another woman in the corner held a blank notebook and didn't write a word.
Su Nuan lowered his head and found an old drawing in his pocket - hand-drawn, yellowed, with precise coordinates marked: the south wall is 3.7 Meters to the east, and the west wall is 5.1 Meters to the north.
"If you make a sound at this point, the sound will be amplified by the resonance of the air conditioning duct by twelve decibels."
She walked to the coordinates and spoke.
—And the whole room spoke for her.
Later, she discovered that every level of the "pipeline" world was a twisted dilemma: workplace bullying in the conference room, her ex-husband's recording that circulated for seven years in the elevator, the wedding dress that could never be finished in the embroidery factory, and the appearance anxiety sold in the mirror room...
Su Nuan's major is HVAC design. She doesn't understand fighting or magic. But she can calculate wind speeds, air currents, resonant frequencies and sound wave paths.
She decided to take the red and blue pencil and draw the design of the world again.
Because the wind doesn't pick its direction. The wind only reaches where it is needed.
Purpose: When the world tries to "standardize" women, they become the wind that changes the rules.
