The first time Cheng Zhou met Xu Wang was in the second grade classroom of high school.
He chose the seat next to him. Xu Wang didn't even raise his head and said, "There's someone here." Cheng Zhou smiled and sat down: "Then you put it on the table now, and the chair is mine." Later, Cheng Zhou learned that Xu Wang was like this to everyone - he had a cold face and spoke as little as squeezing toothpaste. But Cheng Zhou just thought he was cute. He lit him up, sent him strawberry milk, invited him to the beach, and wrote a note and stuffed it in his hand: "Let's go to the beach together after graduation, just the two of us."
Xu Wang looked at it for a long time, folded the note and put it into his pencil case. He didn't reply. But that night, he wrote one word on the back of the note.
"Okay."
There is also a line of smaller words: "Cheng Zhou, I'm waiting for you at the beach."
The note was later soaked, crumpled, and thrown away. Cheng Zhou didn't know what was written on the back. Xu Wang didn't know that Cheng Zhou didn't see it at all. One thought the other party didn't want to go, and the other thought the other party didn't want to come back. The two of them each swallowed a sentence across the disappearing note.
Later, Xu Wang was taken abroad by his mother. Cheng Zhou chased him to the beach and sat there alone until dark. Later, Cheng Zhou fell ill and sent Xu Wang the last message: "I may not be able to go to the beach. You go for me." Xu Wangfei came back and only found a box. Inside was a silver bracelet and a letter.
He went to the beach alone and put on the bracelet. The sea breeze was strong and no one answered.
Years later, Xu Wang opened the old pencil case and the note was still there. On the front is Cheng Zhou's words: "Let's go see the sea together after graduation." On the back is the sentence he wrote back then - there is also a line covered by creases. He himself forgot when he wrote it, in very small words:
"Cheng Zhou, I like you."
What he didn't know was that on the other side of the same sea, Cheng Zhou was still alive. Across the bay, the two men looked at the same coastline. They didn't meet.
The sea remembers everything. It's just that the sea doesn't speak.
Concept: Some love is never spoken, but lasts longer than spoken love. Missing is not not not loving, but loving too much and not daring to get close. Hai remembers everything, just as that person remembers all the unspoken likes.
