Core worldview (original and non-contrastive)
Three years ago, a global fog descended.
Black fog envelopes cities, blocks mountains and rivers, and blocks the sun and moon.
There is a ghost in the fog.
Fierce ghosts, fierce evil spirits, resentful babies, secrets of ancient towns, campus ghost stories, resentful spirits in hospitals, evil spirits in corridors, abandoned dolls...
Ghosts are no longer legends, they are real predators.
The area covered by heavy fog = a supernatural forbidden area.
Once humans step into it, they will be possessed, torn apart, dragged into the treacherous realm, and have their personalities replaced at any time.
The world order has collapsed, laws have failed, and civilization has broken down.
The surviving humans can only huddle in artificial safety zones, relying on meager supplies, incomplete rules, and luck to survive.
The scariest thing is not that ghosts can kill people——
Ghosts have rules, but most living people don't understand the rules and die in confusion.
Only a handful of people who have awakened [Rule Perception] can see through weird flaws, hunt down ghosts, and live in desperate situations.
Purpose: Fight against non-human species
