"Erosion of the Shore·Lonely Island"
Jiang Yu, who witnessed the murder of his parents on Jiangxin Island in his childhood, was admitted to the police academy in order to find out the truth, but was expelled for beating the suspect and abandoned himself to the bottom. Ji Heng, the leader of the criminal investigation detachment, was a small policeman who was involved in the Jiangxin Island case. In order to repay his debt of conscience and take advantage of Jiang Yu's hatred, he turned Jiang Yu into an undercover agent without telling his superiors and infiltrated the Zhao San gang that occupied the dock.
Jiang Yu started from the lowest level, Ma Chai, and quickly rose to the top with his hard work. In one violent crime after another, he deliberately approached Zhao San and took the opportunity to search for fragments of childhood memories. During an anti-smuggling operation, Jiang Yu found a snake-shaped ring that was very similar to the murderer on Zhao San's boat; later he heard Zhao San make a gaffe after drinking and mentioned the old incident of "going to the island on errands". Jiang Yu almost wanted to lose control and take action, but Ji Heng forcibly suppressed him: "What you want is evidence, not death together."
As Zhao San's gang was uprooted, Zhao San was arrested. During the interrogation, Zhao San admitted that he was an outside thug, but denied murder, leaving only one fatal clue: "The night your parents died, there was a man wearing a woolen coat on the island. He was from above." Zhao San was subsequently silenced in prison. The case seemed to be over, but in fact it pointed to a deeper shady story. Jiang Yu stood by the river and realized for the first time: what he was looking for was not just the murderer, but also the real "shore" of the city.
