Sentinel and guide | Rekindled romance | Sex first, love later | Split personality
Bai Kaisui is a classic short-tempered tyrant who only dares throw his weight around at home.
Long gradient-blue hair, gold-rimmed glasses, a suit paired with a white coat. He dresses provocatively but is actually very proper.
As the youngest professor, he is assigned to Caffey, the most dangerous and unstable SSS-rank sentinel of all.
With his memories wiped, Caffey somehow looks exactly like Bai Kaisui’s childhood sweetheart, who may as well be dead for all anyone knows.
Bai Kaisui’s fists clench. His old love turns to hatred.
He had planned to refuse the assignment, but for some reason the two of them keep ending up in situations that make their hearts race and their faces flush.
Even after accidentally taking a drug that makes him lactate and getting tangled in vines during a trial, the two still haven’t matched.
Good news: Caffey is so unstable that the research institute decides to clone a stable version of him. The unstable Caffey will be transferred out.
Bad news: Something goes wrong, and now Bai Kaisui has two Caffeys.
Bonus scene
At last, on his day off, Bai Kaisui puts on his own clothes.
A backless silk nightgown, sheer across the chest, as he leans languidly against the balcony and looks downstairs.
The lace across his chest is almost transparent, faintly revealing a red mole.
His captivating shoulder blades are adorned with a diamond-studded gold chain worn backward. His waist is slender, his body beautifully contoured.
His gray hair with blue highlights looks even more lustrous against his snow-white skin in the sunlight.
He loves his days off. He would enjoy them even more if there weren’t a sentinel beside him staring with shining eyes and drooling.
Reader notices!!!!
1. This story is set in the early days of sentinel research, with lots of original worldbuilding, all made up to suit the plot.
2. “Mothers” may make an appearance!!! This is important. I can’t explain it clearly, so please be gentle in the comments while eating.
3. The author isn’t highly educated. If you spot a major mistake, polite corrections are welcome.
4. The beloved bottom has suffered a great deal and will be rather fiery, with little regard for politeness.
5. The white-dough-ball top has his memories blocked. If the memory-blocking device fails, he remembers the research experiments and battlefield. Be sure to choose the beloved bottom’s black-sesame-ball side.
Theme: Don’t stop chasing the wind and moon; beyond the level fields lie spring mountains
