This is the story of a group of ordinary people. They are civil servants, retired cadres, teahouse owners, middle school teachers, nurses, and businessmen. They gathered together because of a poem in a small town by the Jialing River. Some people waited for someone for eleven years, some started over after going bankrupt, and some slowly forgot what they had written in the ward. They wrote poems, collected stories, quarreled, reconciled, and proved one thing in the stupidest way: as long as there are still people who love life, life will go on. Dedicated to the poets along the Jialing River.
The intention: to use poetry to warm daily life and to persevere against forgetting. Everyone who lives seriously is a poet.
