In my memory, Dongtao Mountain is extremely beautiful, with high mountains and flowing water, cool breeze and bright moon, white clouds and morning dew, goshawks and harriers circling in the sky. The village women open their throats to catch the hawks and their cries rise and fall rhythmically in the air like endless songs. Everywhere you look you can see green mountains and green waters. There are towering trees on both sides of the road, blocking out the sky and hiding countless birdsong, pine waves, and springs. Birds' nests and sparrow eggs can be found on the field ridges and in the thorn bushes. I can buy dozens of bird's nests in one summer. This is really not something only in a fairy tale world. This is my hometown - Dongtao Mountain.
The story is based on the rise and fall of the Dongtaoshan Forest Farm and the fate tree in Zengjiadong at the foot of the mountain. It uses the romance between forest rangers Chen Zhiwu and Zeng Xiaoqin as a clue. It intersperses the different fates of the three girls Zeng Shanying, Zeng Hongyu, and Zeng Juhua and the ups and downs of the Dongtaoshan people to interpret the different destinies of the people in different eras, different regions, and different people. Among the stars and the sea, which one is you? Which one is me? I only hope that the most dazzling thing is that the Chinese nation will last forever!
