The story takes place before the start of the First World War in 1914. The aristocratic girl Ravena followed her father across the ocean to an island in Spain. The sudden war indirectly affected the family's citrus business. Her father died on the passenger ship to London, and the family estate was auctioned. Ravena returned to London alone to survive, but the place had long since changed. All love and hate, glory and wealth pass with the wind like time. Anyone who gives up freedom, which is more precious than wealth, because of fear of poverty, does not deserve freedom at all.
Purpose: A human being should be like a gladiolus, unyielding despite every setback.
