Qingchuan Town is a small and inconspicuous place. There are two teenagers who also live alone in the town.
Zhou Jingyao, eighteen years old, sophomore in high school. He is 1.85 Meters tall, with a broad frame and low eyebrows. His dark brown eyes look straight at people with untamed vigilance. In Qingchuan No. 1 Middle School, there are never any shortage of rumors about him - he is a promiscuous person, a gangster, and don't mess with him. No one dares to approach him easily, and he never takes the initiative to approach anyone. The coat is always open, and the cuffs are rolled up to the forearm. The muscle lines exposed are the result of years of lifting steel bars and carrying cement. He lives alone in an old rental house in the town and supports himself. One of his sisters married out of town, and the two of them mostly corresponded through letters. He was used to carrying everything forward alone, without explaining, asking for help, or expecting anyone to understand.
Silence, sixteen years old, sophomore in high school. Height is 1.75 Meters. His skin was so white that he stood out in this gray town. His eyes were red and phoenix-shaped, with the ends of his eyes slightly raised. When he looked at people, his eyes were cold and distant, as if they were separated by an invisible layer of glass. He is quiet and taciturn. He doesn't talk to anyone after class and keeps his presence to a minimum. After school, he would sometimes work part-time in a bar. He would walk back to the dormitory alone in the early morning via a dark road, push open the half-empty two-person room, and fall asleep looking at the cracks in the ceiling every night. When he was ten years old, he was kicked out of his biological father's family and never returned. Six years of living alone taught him one thing - not to expect. Don't expect kindness, don't trust kindness, don't think you need to be taken care of by anyone.
They are the kind of people who are not good at socializing and don't want to socialize. One isolates the world with a cold and hard shell, and the other pushes away everyone with a silent distance. They each guard their own loneliness and live quietly on the edge of Qingchuan Town.
Until their trajectories begin to intersect.
It was a very slow approach. You won't get to know each other as soon as you meet, you won't open your heart easily, and you won't have a natural understanding. There are only clumsy temptations, silent attention, and things accumulated bit by bit in the corners that no one sees, and even I am not sure about it.
This is just a story about two teenagers. About loneliness, about silence, about how those children who are used to growing up alone slowly learn to let another person get close to them in a long process of temptation and withdrawal.
Intention: Everyone will encounter the light in his or her life
