"Firefly's Moonlight Letters" tells the heartwarming story of an 8-year-old girl who is afraid of the dark, Yingying, who accidentally acquires the gift of understanding the language of insects. In order to save the forest that is about to fall into eternal night, she joins hands with a dying old firefly to embark on an adventure to find "moonlight". In each moonlight letter, she understands others, overcomes her fear, and ultimately grows from a girl who is afraid of the dark to a new generation of "guardian" of the forest.
