This is a rural family history about "living".
The story originates from an ancient village called Taohuagou in the western mountains of the Central Plains during the Republic of China. The Chen family living in this village is divided into three branches: East Branch, West Branch and South Branch. After the old shopkeeper of the East Branch, Chen Shizhen, died of illness, the old shopkeeper of the South Branch, Chen Shihuai, was squeezed out of the Chen family compound.
From then on, the East Courtyard and the Chen Family Courtyard formed two worlds that were unfamiliar to each other in terms of space, area and psychology.
The gears of fate are turning quietly, and the future of East Campus is far farther than anyone expected.
