For this reason, the Sinfire Countermeasures Bureau was established to recruit people with special abilities to fight against Sinfire and the eight female Sinfires who are the pinnacle of strength. The eight deadly sins: killing, bloodthirsty, vanity, cruelty, lust, torture, gambling, and plague.
On his 18th birthday, Faust came into contact with the Sinfire of the Gun, awakened his powers, and joined the countermeasures bureau. Then his squadron combat team welcomed a powerful newcomer named Gustafa, and the two became partners and happy enemies. In the first major battle, it was discovered that the first of the Eight Deadly Sins to show up, "bloodthirsty," was actually his lost friend Remedios.
