The Fog Harbor at the end of the 19th century was shrouded in Atlantic sea fog all year round. The hereditary Duke Alva sat in the entire harbor, but he was trapped in the fateful prison of the nobility, and his soul was barren for half his life.
At an art exhibition, he met the homeless painter Elias. A paintbrush tears away the cold disguise, and two lonely souls sink in the studio, whisper on the cliff, rub their short-lived love into the oil painting, and become the only light in each other's lives.
But the class gap, family covenants, and secular judgments eventually crushed this soulful love. On the edge of the raging tide, the painter left behind a piece of "Tide Posthumous Chapter", turned around and rushed to the ocean, and has not been heard from since.
Many years later, Alva learned that his lover had been buried in the deep sea, and spent the rest of his life alone in the cliff palace, looking at the Atlantic Ocean in the sea fog that lingered all year round, spending his whole life waiting.
Some encounters are destined to be regretful, while some love can only be sealed forever in oil paintings and the tide of foggy harbor.
