This is probably the story of a group of very proud Slytherins. The origin of pride is different for everyone. Some people are proud because they are loved, some are proud because they are not loved, and some are proud because they want to be seen. They went their separate ways in Slytherin, a place where everyone took sides. Then the war came, some people died and some survived. Those who survived continue to carry the share of those who died and move forward.

Ietta Warren is a Muggle-born girl. When she got the Hogwarts acceptance letter, she thought everything would get better. Then the Sorting Hat threw her into Slytherin.
Here, most people feel that purebloods are superior. Among her classmates were Bernice, the eldest daughter of the Potter family, Regulus, the younger son of the Black family, Anthony from the Greengrass family, and Pandora from the Malfoy family. They grew up together and have their own circle, their own rules, and their own language. Ieta doesn't belong here, everyone knows it.
But Ietta, the more you say she is unworthy, the more she wants to prove it to you. She doesn't care how others treat her, what she cares about is whether she can be remembered.
Bernice Potter didn't care about anything. She is very popular in Slytherin, and she is the kind of person who will be nice to you if you are nice to her. But if you don't take her seriously, she will never give you a second glance. She felt that Voldemort was nothing more than that, not because she was opposed to pure blood, but because she truly felt that she was stronger than anyone else. She grew up watered by love, and neither death nor war can change her core.
Regulus Black was another man pushed to the edge. His brother went into Gryffindor and he stayed to take on everything. He was used to being treated as a substitute, used to not talking much, used to keeping a distance from everyone.
Anthony Greengrass' pride is of a different kind. He has known since he was a child that he is a member of the Greengrass family, he knows what pure blood means, and he knows which level of the pyramid he is on. He looks down on others as a matter of course, and doesn't even think it's called looking down - in his eyes, this is how the world should be. But this kind of pride fears one thing most: fear that someone will not follow his rules, and fear that one day he will have to doubt that the things he believes in may not be tenable at all.
Pandora Malfoy looked the least proud. She doesn't take sides, doesn't fight over things, and doesn't rush to express her position. But this is where her pride lies - her last name is Malfoy, but she refuses to follow Malfoy's script. Her pride was not shouted out, but quietly and slowly leaked out from the fingers of her family's expectations, and she went her own way.
