"Non-Human Classics" is a highly experimental non-human literary allegorical text constructed by Li Yanxi after a long period of accumulation and understanding. The book completely abandons human emotional projection and binary opposition, retaining only pure communication between "things", and aims to restore an objective world picture that is completely stripped of human will and identity intervention.
In terms of style, each text is strictly controlled within 1,500 words, carrying profound philosophical thoughts in a concise length. The frame of reference of its fables is extremely broad, spanning microscopic particles, animal and plant ecology, to macroscopic celestial bodies and the vast universe. What is particularly unique is that while stripping away the anthropocentric perspective, these texts do not fall into obscurity and coldness. Instead, they are presented in a highly contrasting humorous form, allowing all things to naturally reveal absurdity and fun that transcend human joys and sorrows in the pure interaction of things.
