Rong Wanqing and Lin Yashi were a pair of ordinary lovers - until they were pulled into a strange space called "Threshold".
There are monsters called "angels" entrenched in the threshold. Some of them were once humans and were strong among the passers-by. After receiving the "gift", they became puppets. Only by clearing levels, becoming stronger, and clearing levels again can you survive.
But the most dangerous thing in the Threshold is never the angels - it's the other chosen ones. Some people massacre their companions for the chance to make three wishes, some betray their teammates in order to resurrect their loved ones, and some treat killing as a game.

Deep in the threshold, above the angels, the archangels covet their "high-quality" souls. As everyone knows, in the deeper abyss, there is another person who brought someone back to the world before the stars fell...
