Hanxue was reborn, and she returned to the day when her sister-in-law took away everything. All Su Jinyao has left in her hands is a scrap of Su embroidery manuscript left by her mother. My sister-in-law said that embroidery was a family tradition and she was not worthy of learning it. During the night trial at the ancestral hall, the whole family forced her to hand over her embroidery manuscripts. She showed the scraps of the scroll—not the embroidery samples, but the unique skills of Su embroidery that her mother had sacrificed her life for. Each stitch and each thread embroiders flowers and birds, hiding half a lifetime of blood and tears. From an orphan girl who was kicked out of her home, to the owner of Jinxiu Villa. From a scrap manuscript that no one cares about, to a masterpiece worth a thousand dollars. It took her ten years - ten years of embroidery, ten years of enduring humiliation, ten years of waiting for justice. And when she finally stood in front of the Su family ancestral hall, and her sister-in-law knelt on the ground and begged her for forgiveness, she only said one sentence: "Have you returned my mother's acupuncture?"
Purpose: This work uses Suzhou embroidery skills as a carrier to tell the story of ancient women's counterattack and self-reliance amid family strife. Su Jinyao did not rely on revenge, marriage, or power - relying on a roll of embroidery manuscripts left by her mother and ten years of continuous embroidery needlework, she grew from an orphan girl who was expelled from her home to the owner of Jinxiu Villa. The core concept that the work wants to express is: the real counterattack is not to fight tooth for tooth, but to live better than the person who hurt you; the real inheritance is not blood, but craftsmanship and character.
