Since longing is invisible, always washed away and faded by the tide of time, and quietly obscured by the fog of memory - then let it take root.
Use words as soil and years as rain.
Let the warm, regretful, bright and moist past grow into chapters that will not wither.
I would like to dedicate this book to Chen Yi, to my husband Jiang Jingzhou, and to all the important people who I have loved deeply in the depths of time and who have always loved me deeply.
Purpose: This book starts from a campus encounter and tells an emotional story about two-way rush and disordered destiny. The male and female protagonists establish a stable and deep emotional connection in their youth. From growing up side by side to planning the future together, the relationship continues to deepen through study, projects and daily companionship, and gradually moves towards a "certain" intimate relationship - until an accident occurs. The second half of the work shifts from emotion to rupture and reconstruction at the life level. After a sudden loss, it shows how individuals face the emotional void, memory reflux and the process of self-reshaping. The story does not aim at "recovery", but at the core of "coexistence": coexistence with unchangeable facts, coexistence with persistent emotions, and coexistence with the irreversibility of time itself. What this book attempts to express is a more restrained emotional reality - deep relationships may not necessarily end satisfactorily, but true love will leave long-term echoes in a disordered life and become the inner support for individuals to move forward.
