A documentary director who uses sound to record urban memories meets an emergency doctor who is cold on the outside and hot on the inside on a rainy night in Wutong. Their love grows from the cracks in each other's lives, and they save each other amidst old city demolition, family resistance, public opinion storms and extreme rainstorms.
