The background of the story is an imaginary magical world in Western Europe, and it mainly takes place in a holy place for academic exchange between the East and the West. The experience and growth of the protagonist (mainly a Western magician) are interspersed with the game between the previous generation and the pseudo-imperial regime. The two male protagonists went from being intimate to tit-for-tat, and finally found each other's hand in the abyss. All the suffering was just a staircase for the twin stars of the Empire to spiral up to the highest altitude.
