Long ago, the people of Ethelia were created by the goddess Ethel. Water, fire, wind, thunder, earth and moonlight have all accepted them, and the elements have always responded to everyone's perception and call.
Later, a knife drifted from the outer sea changed everything. People began to cut down, build, and excavate, changing nature with their own will, but the goddess remained silent since then.
Many years later, Taran, a fifteen-year-old boy from Sabas Village, accidentally regained his resonance with the element of water.
Is this the mercy that the goddess has not yet withdrawn, or is it the call of some unknown power? Do the ancient altars on the northern plateau really exist? Once the holy bell that has been silent for many years is tolled, will Ethelia be accepted again, or will a new disaster usher in?
Forced to leave his hometown, Taran will pass through villages and towns isolated by mountains and enter cities with prosperous crafts. He will also face evil forces that are quietly growing and secretly accumulating power...
