I didn't believe it.

Curiosity and inexplicable pull made me agree to help her. Relying on the faint resonance of the jade pendant, we search for even the slightest scratches left by a woman named "Shen Zhaoling" in history in midnight data rooms, abandoned old bookstores and cultural corridors recording glory.
However, the deeper the search, the thicker the mystery becomes.
Why do I always feel the palpitations of deja vu wherever she lingers? Why are the records about the past in old files so clean as if they have been wiped deliberately? Why is it that whenever I touch some dusty names, the jade pendant on my chest feels faintly hot, as if it is burning through time and space?
What makes me even more uneasy is the fragments that start to break into my mind frequently - the smell of gunpowder smoke that doesn't belong to me, the coldness of the frozen soil, and the decisive farewell from behind... They scream crazily, trying to tell me a forgotten answer.

I gradually understood that this connection was far deeper and more deadly than I imagined.
