There is not only one universe.
It is like an infinitely branching tree, with each choice giving birth to a new branch. Humans call it "parallel universe". Most of the time, these universes live in peace, follow their own laws of physics, and move along their own lines of cause and effect.
Until the Observer Council discovered the "causal interference" technology.
At first, it was for rescue - to transfer resources from the dying universe to the prosperous universe, and to send refugees from the war-torn universe to a peaceful place. They consider themselves gardeners, pruning the trees of the multiverse. But they forget that every "pruning" leaves a wound on the trunk.

In order to fight against this disaster, the remaining universe formed two major camps:
The Unified Council: Firmly believe that an absolute and unified causal order must be established to fight "nothingness" with "order".
They advocate calculation, control and the cold logic of sacrificing the few to preserve the many. Its top strategic officer, codenamed "Zero", Ji Xu, is the embodiment of "absolute rationality".
The Other Side Resistance Organization: believes that the uniqueness of each universe and each life is the real power against "nothingness".
They pursue freedom, possibility and the dignity of every individual at all costs. Its supreme commander, codenamed "∞", Cheng Rang, is a symbol of "infinite possibilities".
For three years, the two camps have been on the front line against the "Tide of Nothingness", sometimes cooperating and sometimes confronting.
The relationship between "zero" and "∞" has always been the most unstable and eye-catching variable in the alliance. Now, the final moment has arrived.
The only weapon that can reverse the "tide of nothingness" - the "karma bomb" - has been built. The key to activating it lies in the hands of these two old enemies.
The price is: the life of the initiate, and... Existence itself.
