At twenty-two, Meng Yimeng has failed his driving test again and again. Rejected by every driving school, he is eventually sent away as a problem student to a driving school deep in the mountains.
The one who takes him in is Xu Xin, a retired rally driver who now teaches people to step on the gas on a mountain track riddled with cracks. Cold and taciturn, he acts in unconventional ways, carrying a past and old “debts” on his shoulders.
Younger top Meng Yimeng, timid but tenacious at heart × older top Xu Xin, a man of action who never talks about his scars
A slow-burn, realistic story. No love at first sight, no formulaic melodrama.
Their feelings don't grow amid romance, but slowly take root through torrential rain, mud, and one real-life hardship after another. Two men covered in scars choose to stand by each other under the weight of gossip and pressure.
Theme: True healing doesn't mean erasing the scars of the past. It means building new trust and connection on top of them.
