Shen Yan, Lin Yu and Cheng Yuan set out from Chang'an on the orders of their master Bai Yi to find Master Jin Chan. Jin Chan and Bai Yi were old acquaintances.
Shen Yan, Lin Yu and Cheng Yuan were walking and passed by a temple. There was a little black cat at the door of the temple. Seeing that the cat was pitiful, Shen Yan took him in and took the cat with him.
