Adventure anchor Jiang Xun received a private message and came to an old school building that had been closed for 26 years.
The desks and chairs were neat, the blackboard was not wiped, and the date on the exercise book stopped at June 1999.
Everything is business as usual. There's just no one left.
There is a shadow at the end of the corridor. It asked him: "What are you holding?"
That's Shendu. He's not a ghost, he's the last student here on duty.
He chose to stay and guard a summer that had long since disappeared.
Jiang Xun was supposed to leave after filming. But he turned off the live broadcast and stayed.
He took Shen Du to see the outside world - used bookstores, abandoned water parks, and disappearing old streets.
