Documentary director Lin Zhao was filming in an old building that was about to be demolished when he met Bai Bai, an old book restorer who refused to be in the camera. An old book with missing pages and a damaged recording led the two people into an old case of a missing girl that was hastily closed many years ago. Lin Zhao wanted to take a picture of the truth, but Bai Tian was the survivor of the old case. She was afraid that someone else would decide how to be seen for her again. The two re-understood the boundaries of "records" through disputes, cold wars and cooperation. In the end, Bai Zhou chose to use his own voice to tell the past, and Lin Zhao put down his savior attitude and only accompanied her to let the silenced name see the light again.
Intention: She is not my night, she is the day that I finally dare to walk into.
