The day before I was to marry King Yan, I was pinned down by Yi Jinxiu, the leader of the Jinyi Guards.
"Are you really determined to marry that King Yan?"
"He will become a traitor soon, and why don't you choose me to be your husband?"
He pinched my neck fiercely and watched all my reactions.
"But my surname is Zhou, have you forgotten, Mr. Yi?"
Back then, Yi Jinxiu led a dozen or so imperial guards to kill more than a hundred people in the Zhou family, but I, Zhou Jibai, was the only one who survived.
