Mu Jinglin has a secret: he dreams, and in his dreams there are always people asking for help.
He didn't know what these dreams meant, or why he always felt a lingering uneasiness when he woke up. A strange thing happened while playing hide-and-seek when he was six years old, like a crack, quietly split his life in two. They seemed parallel, but they were not mirror images: some things existed on both sides, and some things only belonged to one of them.
There are both sides, but they are not the same.
A murder case at an abandoned construction site implicated Mu Jinglin and one of them, Qin Yuan. As the investigation deepens, more and more cases come to light, and each case seems to have some inexplicable connection with his weird dreams. He began to passively travel between the two worlds, looking for clues and answers.
