She is a sacrifice.
Zhuanxu wanted her blood, Youzu wanted her life, and the gods wanted her to die on her knees.
Only the neglected old man gave her the last bit of divine power before he died:
"Poke a hole in the sky for me..."
She did it.
God withdrew. The sky cracked. She also burned out.
Later, she knitted straw sandals at the foot of the mountain, and no one recognized her.
Purpose: to oppose sacrificial oppression and defend individual dignity; the rule of God will fade away and the rule of man will awaken.
