There is a "regret recycling bin" in the corner of the city that only opens at midnight. The owner can buy the "regret memories" that people most want to erase at a high price. The protagonist is a young man who has just experienced bankruptcy and lovelorn. He comes to the recycling bin and wants to sell the memory of his "ex-girlfriend who he loved deeply but betrayed him". When the boss showed the "regrets" of other customers (such as the son who gave up his seriously ill mother for his career, the girl who missed her first love because of low self-esteem), the protagonist saw different aspects of life.
Reversal design: The protagonist finally decides not to sell this memory. Because he discovered that it was this painful memory that taught him how to love, how to identify true feelings, and gave him the motivation to stand up again.
