Gu Qianqiu, a sophomore girl in high school, lives in a small county town. Living under each other's identities, they saw clearly for the first time the cracks under the "perfect" shell: Gu Qianqiu felt the loneliness in Mu Qingci's mansion, and Mu Qingci felt Gu Qianqiu's suffocation from being bound by love.
