He Beigeng (Gong, brother) was sent to the Jie Tong Institute (actually a Jie Slave Camp) by He Bei Geng for a ten-year transformation because his younger brother Si Jiulin (shou, adopted) liked He Bei Geng and confessed his love to He Bei Geng on He Bei Geng's birthday. Si Jiulin experienced tremendous mental and physical torture in the Jie Tong Institute.
