My name is Shen Tang, and I am sick.
But that doesn't mean I deserve to be called a "broom star" and an "extreme patient."
I broke things, was put in restraints, and cried "I'm not sick" in the corridors of the mental hospital.
They labeled me and told me to get out of this world.
Then I met four people like me.
We formed a band in a basement called "Group Night".
No one thinks highly of us. Everyone said: You are sick, what song should you sing?
Go to hell.
What's wrong with being sick? Can't you sing if you're sick?
This is the story of five "madmen".
It is also the story of every person who is called "abnormal".
Purpose: Young people labeled as "mentally ill" do not need to be cured in order to shine. Being disabled is not a mistake in itself, but not being able to make a sound is. This is a story about anti-labeling, self-acceptance and mutual redemption - using music to explode the prejudices of the world, and proving on the stage that the wish made by a madman is the least likely to be broken.
