In the 15th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty, Xincheng County had official magistrates and Dianshi, but they all lived in Qingyuan Fucheng. They only came to the county with seal letters every autumn harvest to collect grain. In normal times, there were hereditary Mo family officials in the county to manage personnel and armed forces. The 18-year-old Moman, the sister of Chieftain Molu of Xincheng County, was obsessed with folk brocade. She boldly reformed and changed the monotonous style of folk cloth to the rich and diverse patterns of the government, and also gained the love from the folk. Later, she lived in Diquan Village at the source of Zhijiang River. She died fighting with bandits, and the mountain where she was buried was later called Moman Mountain. She laid the foundation for the exquisite development of Xincheng Zhuang Brocade, which eventually became a tribute to the imperial palace during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty.
