"Waiting for Flowers to Bloom" is the first collection of essays by the author Li Leo, and it is also a sincere growth note. The pen name "Lee Leo" comes from his parents' surname, which embodies the warmth of family and self-exploration.
This book originates from "Send at Thirty" which was unfinished before I was thirty. After ten years of ups and downs in life, the author wrote again at the age of forty to record the confusion, persistence and subtle discoveries of an ordinary person. She is not a "successful person", but she shares the mark of riding the wind and waves and the pursuit of the unknown with complete sincerity.
The whole book revolves around the "flowering period" and asks oneself: Does growth need to bloom at a specific moment? Perhaps, blooming is a continuous gesture. There are no grand answers in the book, only a journey along the way. I wish to open this book and witness how an ordinary life can find the meaning of reconciliation with oneself and time among ordinary vegetation.
