Lin Yue is a mermaid in the interstellar era. She has a portable system and should have been able to sing freely in the ocean. A turbulence in time and space swept her into a small coastal village in southeastern China in 1974 and transformed her into an ordinary human baby girl.
She grew up in Linjia Village and was childhood sweethearts with the boy next door, Lin Jianjun. Lin Jianjun was determined to join the army and said before leaving, "I'll pick you up when I come back." Years later, he actually became a Navy platoon leader and sent an invitation to join the army.
Lin Yue married him, went to an island in the East China Sea, and began a military life full of sea breeze, hardship and warmth.
However, the space-time rift is not completely closed. Mysterious "neighbors" appear one after another around me - elegant ladies, modern girls with different temperaments, and more time-travelers who come from nowhere.
Lin Yue and her system quietly observed while eating, only to discover that there seemed to be a bigger secret hidden behind this multiple time travels.
